I have been extremely happy with the services provided by Assisting Angels. Their staff is carefully screened for honesty, caring, efficiency and ability. They are very punctual and reliable and fit in with my lifestyle. They really care a lot about your happiness and contentment.

My Aunt married very late in life and never had children of her own. She was the major caregiver and point person for my parents as they aged. Now both my sister and I live outside the state, and needed to make sure she was taking care of herself and meeting doctor appointments. Our aide did an outstanding job, ensuring that she made all appointment commitments, eating properly and her home remained in good condition. We have been using assisting angles for the the last 18 months and it has been by far been such a wonderful experience. Val was our assisting angel. She was so amazing always attended to my Dads needs and he could be very difficult. At a time when we could not be there for him she filled in as a family member. Val would even help out on last minute phone call if she was able to help us. My Dad passed away last night but he never alone at night till the virus hit and we were not able to visit him. From day one, the staff who came to our mother's home were genuine, deeply caring and went above and beyond what would have been expected for this type of care-giving. (We were grateful to have a mostly "regular" team of providers) They often volunteered to cook extra for her, even though there were other options for her to choose from.They frequently offered to do extra things around the house, beyond what was expected (while she was resting) and they communicated wonderfully with each other and with us, about her ups and downs, when we couldn't be there. And, most importantly, we found all of them to be truly "Angels" as they became friends with our mother. Sharing their interests, stories of their lives and families and our mother sharing as well. And through her last days when she had to go to Hospice, they continued to send loving messages to us; reminding us how important it is to have genuinely caring care-givers supporting families in their time of need.
